What a delightful stay at this hotel in Prince Albert! the serene gardens set the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. the housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring our room was always tidy and welcoming. the outdoor swimming pools were a refreshing oasis, and we enjoyed lounging under the sun umbrellas in the garden area. the staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the breakfast spread was simply amazing, offering a variety of locally sourced products and Renate's delicious homemade cake. We loved exploring the nearby attractions on foot, soaking in the charm of the town.

We recently had the most wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners and staff. The attention to detail and traditional architecture of this place immediately caught our attention. The hotel is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with an ancient fig tree that adds a touch of charm. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully furnished, providing the utmost comfort during our stay.

We stayed in a beautiful lodge surrounded by lovely cooling gardens, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant we chose had delicious food at a reasonable price, which was a delightful surprise. The well-maintained gardens were a joy to explore, and we enjoyed the stunning views of the mountains from our room. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, including spacious bathrooms. The staff provided excellent service, and the complimentary evening sundowners were a lovely touch.

The complimentary soft drinks were not readily available in the rooms, requiring a trip to reception for them.

The location of the lodge was perfect, just a short walk away from the local restaurants and shops. the staff were very welcoming and friendly. the rooms were well-equipped with all the modern gadgets you would need, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. One of the best aspects was the complimentary sundowners each night, it was a lovely touch!

Although there were complimentary soft drinks available, you had to go to the reception to get them, which was a bit inconvenient. the lack of personal touch was noticeable, it felt like something was missing.

I absolutely loved my room at De Bergkant Lodge. The underfloor heating in both the bedroom and bathroom was a great touch, especially during the cold winter. The decor was stunning, and the black and white tiled bathroom with double showers was a highlight. Everything was impeccably clean, making me feel right at home. The lodge also had three beautiful swimming pools, two braai areas, a sauna, and a steam room, which added to the overall relaxation and enjoyment of my stay. The location was perfect, with restaurants nearby and easy access to explore the town. The breakfast served at the lodge was delicious, with options like poached eggs on croissants and soaked Bircher muesli. The service was excellent and personal, making me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. The figs available at the breakfast table were incredibly sweet and a delightful treat. I would highly recommend De Bergkant Lodge to anyone planning to visit this charming town.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious bedrooms with extra long beds and the variety of facilities available, including air conditioning, underfloor heating, a kitchenette. The sauna was a great way to relax after a long day of hiking, and the lovely garden and three swimming pools added to the overall enjoyment. The breakfasts, served by Kurtley, were delicious with a wide range of options to choose from. We found the value for money excellent and will definitely stay at this lodge again in the future.
