We were blown away by the beautiful setting of this place. The luxury, riverside tent was absolutely fantastic. The gardens were well-tendered and stunning. Despite being fully booked over New Year's, there was never a sense of crowdedness. This is truly an amazing oasis that we feel lucky to have visited.

I had a peaceful stay at De Oude Meul Country Lodge & Restaurant. The luxury suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a lovely en-suite bathroom. The patio offered a relaxing view of the swimming pool, lawns, and trees. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served excellent meals under the shady pergola. The location near the Cango caves and ostrich farms was a bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this country lodge. The rooms were nice and clean, and the breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade jam. The pool and garden were lovely, and we enjoyed seeing the ostriches and goats. We also made use of the BBQ facilities, which were conveniently available for a small fee. The location was perfect, with the Cango Wildlife Park, caves, and ostrich farms nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late due to a flat tire on our rental car. a great experience at this family-run lodge.

We stayed at De Oude Meul for one night and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful, providing tips for our journey and suggesting local attractions like the music festival in Oudshorn. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely patio. We enjoyed a morning walk on the farm grounds, spotting ostrich families and adorable rabbits. The breakfast was delicious and the host took the time to chat with all guests. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.
