The value for money at Hunter's was outstanding! The room was beyond beautiful and the location was surrounded by breathtaking nature. The staff treated us with such warmth and hospitality, making us feel truly welcome and cared for.

The breakfast could have been improved with more variety and options.

hunter's country house in harkerville was even better than our previous stay. the staff were friendly and efficient, the gardens were beautifully maintained, and the choice of three top-class restaurants served great food. we also loved the convenient location between plettenberg bay and knysna. it was a perfect base for exploring the area.

One small disappointment was the low hotel occupancy during our visit, which affected our enjoyment of the restaurants.

The luxurious amenities provided by this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff was extremely attentive to my needs and the massage I received was nothing short of heavenly. The sun terrace and garden area made for a perfect setting to take in the breathtaking views. The private facilities provided were an added bonus and added to the overall exclusivity of the venue.

Although my stay here was practically perfect, the one minor issue I encountered was with the breakfast service. The waitstaff appeared a bit disorganized and my order arrived later than anticipated.

We had a lovely stay at a hotel surrounded by stunning gardens filled with beautiful plants, providing a tranquil atmosphere. We enjoyed dining in three different restaurants, each with their own unique charm. The hotel staff were attentive and the service was excellent. The room was comfortable, with a cozy wood fire and thoughtful touches like complimentary fudge. Breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide range of delicious options. We also enjoyed the well-maintained shared pool and the high tea served daily in the lounge area.

There were some noise disruptions from the neighboring lodge with young children, which was beyond the hotel's control.

The hotel we stayed at was surrounded by lush gardens and had a beautiful pool which was refreshing in the hot weather. the staff were very welcoming and provided us with a lot of helpful information about the local area. They also offered a lovely afternoon tea with delicious bite-sized snacks and fresh tea. the food at the on-site restaurant was very good.

Our room was not up to our expectations as it was quite small and lacked some basic amenities, such as a refrigerator or a safe for personal belongings. the bed was also quite uncomfortable which led to a restless night's sleep.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hunter's Country House for a few nights. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable, with little touches like lighting the fireplace in our room while we were at dinner to ensure a warm welcome back. The food at the Sage restaurant was exceptional, and the chef's skills were truly magical. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful gardens to explore and relax in. one of the best hotel experiences we've had.
