The property had a beautiful location, with stunning views of the bay. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make my husband's birthday special. We loved the homely atmosphere and the cozy fireplace, perfect for a romantic evening. The breakfast provided was delicious and served with a view.

Mossel Bay itself wasn't our favorite place on the Garden Route, so we may skip it next time. The shared reception with a dentist was a bit odd, and having the bathroom open plan within the bedroom was inconvenient for privacy.

The location of this budget-friendly accommodation is perfect for exploring the area. You can easily walk to all the attractions, as it is right at the top of the hill and close to the old harbour with plenty of restaurants. The room was stylish and spacious, with a stunning view over the ocean and mountains. The bathroom was exquisite, with two sinks, a nice shower, and a luxurious bathtub. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a great stay. The breakfast provided had nice touches, like a fruit bowl and warm bread rolls. The pool and garden area were also pleasant for relaxing.

The microwave used to warm the croissants and buns made them soggy, which was not enjoyable.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and offered a refreshing drink. Our room was spacious and bright, with a beautiful view of the pool and bay. The breakfast, served in a large and comfortable dining area, was cooked to order and delicious. The staff, including the helpful hostess, provided great recommendations for local dining and attractions. We highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at a wonderful self-catering accommodation in Mossel Bay. Lavandula Manor provided us with spacious and high-quality rooms, along with breathtaking views of the bay. The hospitality was exceptional, as the staff gave us a warm welcome and even gave us a tour of the hotel. They made our anniversary extra special by surprising us with local bubbles and fruit. The breakfast options were great, and they went above and beyond by accommodating my gluten-free dietary needs with delicious gluten-free bread. it was a lovely base for our stay in Mossel Bay.
