The location was perfect, just a short drive from town centre and with easy access to the beach. The room was spacious and offered a pleasant view of the ocean. The bathroom, although showing signs of wear, was still clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the owners and staff was excellent, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Additionally, the lodge had a viewing room where guests could enjoy beautiful views of the area, including sightings of whales.

The lodge was not centrally located, which may not be convenient for those wanting to be closer to the town centre.

lavender manor guest lodge is a perfect place to stay in hermanus! the comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms and sea views were amazing. the breakfasts were delicious and the whole property had a lovely ambiance. the host provided helpful advice, making our first visit even better. overall, a fantastic stay!

Celebrating the new year at this guesthouse was a great experience. The breakfast spread was fantastic and allowed for a great start to the day. The view of the ocean from the property was breathtaking, making for a picturesque setting throughout the day. the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and town center. a great getaway location with fantastic amenities.

The staff was not as friendly and welcoming as we would have hoped. This lack of hospitality detracted from the overall experience of the stay.

The breakfast was fantastic, with so many options to choose from. The view from the rooftop patio was amazing, and we even saw a whale while we were there. The location was perfect, close to the cliff path for beautiful walks and just a short drive from a stunning beach with a great restaurant. lavender manor guest lodge exceeded our expectations in every way possible. the spacious and beautifully furnished room, along with the daily cleaning service, made us feel like royalty. the underfloor heating and comfy bed were a luxurious touch. the complimentary minibar and chocolates on our pillows added a special touch. the warm and helpful hosts, marelise and kobus, made our stay even more enjoyable. breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. we can't wait to return.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location next to the beach bar was perfect for us. We enjoyed spending time at Grotto beach, soaking up the sun and sipping drinks at the bar. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was the best it could be. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds and a lovely view. The breakfast was delicious, with tasty croissants that we couldn't resist. The common areas were also comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying our time here.
