Convenient location, outstanding reception staff, excellent room service, beautiful Tudor building with stunning decor.

Can't fault the property in any way.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we especially loved the pleasant smell upon check-in. The shower was great, and the breakfast in bed was delicious.

Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed with the great area it's located in. It's very quiet and has beautiful surroundings which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff here are amazing and made our request perfectly. Especially the receptionists who were always understanding and pleasant. The manager even made a special effort to come to our room to welcome us and personally handed us a welcome note which made us feel very valued.

Sadly we did not have the chance to eat our main meals at this hotel, so we can't vouch for that. However, we did enjoy some of the other items on offer, and the quality could have been better.

Convenient location off the highway, only an hour from KingShaka Airport. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Comfy room and bed, fantastic shower. Amazing food. Lovely, stylish old building. Easy highway access. Inexpensive restaurant. Helpful staff. Large room safe.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Pietermaritzburg and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, with stunning gardens and a convenient location near the restaurant and comfortable bar area. The rooms were decent, with quiet air conditioning and a variety of pillows for different sleep preferences. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of delicious dishes. The hotel also had well-trained staff in the restaurant, making the dining experience enjoyable.

One downside, however, was that there were some issues with noisy water pipes during the night, which made it difficult to sleep.

Spacious room, nice bathroom, friendly staff, good food. Cons: The view from my room was non-existent, but I guess that's what you get when you're at the back of the hotel.

During my recent stay at Anew Hotel, I had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel had a beautiful old English country look, which added to its charm. I also appreciated the peacefulness of the surrounding neighborhood.

There was one particular situation that slightly dampened my stay. There were some rowdy and noisy guests staying at the hotel, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.

Absolutely loved my city trip! The hotel had a great location, right in the heart of the city! The breakfast was amazing and offered a great variety. One surprise was the complimentary wine and cheese that was offered in the evenings. It was a great welcome addition after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. the hotel made my trip that much more enjoyable.

Although the room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom mirror was scratched. It wasn't a huge deal but it did take away from the luxurious feel of the room.

our stay at hilton was amazing! the hotel had a classy, relaxed vibe with excellent service. the restaurant was relaxing and the food exceeded expectations, especially the vegan options. we enjoyed the clean pool and had a great time. we'll definitely be back for a longer stay soon!

Air-con and plugs didn't work.
