The staff at the main building were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The location was also convenient, with the must-see Buffelsdrift just a short distance away. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a nice and clean space to relax after a long day exploring.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, I was truly impressed. The location just outside the restaurant with loungers on the outskirts of town was absolutely perfect. The hotel complex is beautifully designed, with a charming mix of rondavels, terraced and semi-detached properties. I was fortunate enough to be upgraded to a lovely end terrace room by the pool, which offered plenty of light and a private outdoor patio with a BBQ facility. The room was equipped with a new and unused kitchenette area for those who wish to self-cater. The bathroom had a great shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I also enjoyed the nice pool with loungers and towels available upon request.

Although there is no on-site evening meal option, this minor inconvenience should not deter you from considering this place. The overall experience and quality of this hotel overshadowed any drawbacks.

We loved the location of this hotel, as it was close to the Waterfront and all the visitor attractions. It was perfect because we wanted to explore the area and see the places of interest. The hotel also had a nice outdoor area just outside the restaurant with loungers, where we could relax and enjoy the view. The room was comfortable, with a clean and modern bathroom. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who helped us with all our needs. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. we had a great experience.

That the shower stepping directly into the room was a bit inconvenient.

Stayed here for business and loved it! the accommodations were clean and cozy. the location was perfect as it was close to both the ostrich farm and the caves. the restaurant offered delicious meals and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of work.

The breakfast could have had a better selection and the dining room was a bit small and crowded.

We stayed at the Protea Hotel and had a fantastic experience. the hotel setup was inviting, with comfortable rooms and a lovely pool that was clean and well-maintained. the highlight for us was the excellent breakfast, which we enjoyed outside in a pleasant setting. We will definitely be returning.
