We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel, located in a good neighborhood close to the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-furnished, with a fridge and a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The breakfast provided was delicious, offering a variety of options to cater to different preferences. Additionally, the hotel provided a beautiful view of the surrounding area, adding to our overall experience.

The hot chocolate sachets with a note to contact reception if I felt cold was a thoughtful gesture. The location of the hotel was excellent, especially at night when I could overlook the whole city. The receptionist was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and professional, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was top-notch, with delicious food and a fantastic staff. Special mention to Stanley and Darren who were both incredibly helpful, and the bar staff and the coffee lady at breakfast were attentive and friendly.

I recently had a great stay at this hotel, and as a Marriott Bonvoy loyalty member, I was impressed with the value for money it offered. The prices were reasonable, and I appreciated the hotel's attention to detail in providing basic amenities and clean rooms with two double beds. The staff were friendly and provided quick check-in and check-out service. The location, nestled between residential areas with the mountains in the distance, was convenient for the areas we needed to visit.

During my recent stay at Protea Hotel, I experienced exceptional service that made my visit truly memorable. The front desk staff went above and beyond to assist me with various arrangements and provided valuable advice. One instance stands out in particular. When I accidentally misplaced my car key on a beach, they swiftly organized emergency transportation for me, ensuring minimal disruption to my plans. Their promptness and fair pricing were commendable.

Although there were some drawbacks, such as occasional noise from children running around and a lack of a bar fridge in the room, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience.

During Christmas, I spent two nights at this hotel and I must say that the staff was nice and friendly. the hotel was situated very close to the main highway which made it easy for me to travel around the city. the hotel provided good technical support.

I wasn't fully satisfied with my stay at this hotel. the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room.
