I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel on a stunning working farm. The location was perfect for those looking to escape the busyness of city life. The hotel provided excellent service and the room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received from the owners. They truly made me feel at home. Additionally, there were a lot of activities to enjoy on the farm, such as bottle feeding lambs and exploring the picturesque surroundings. The highlight of my stay was the delicious braai tray that I had the option to order. It was a unique and tasty experience after a long day of traveling. I also had the opportunity to purchase some Karoo meat to take home, and it was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The guesthouse is located on a quiet working farm, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere for a getaway. Guests can enjoy walking around the huge property and observing the various animals, such as sheep, goats, and tortoises. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with attention to detail, and boasts exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a cozy and restful sleep.

The guesthouse does not have a backup plan for load shedding, resulting in a 4-hour period of limited lighting in the evening.

The location was peaceful and allowed for some lovely walks on the farm. The room was well-equipped with modern furnishings and a great shower. We also enjoyed the option to have a braai and taste some delicious biltong and dried wors.

The road leading to the accommodation was not suitable for lighter vehicles and could be a challenge for some guests. It would have been helpful to have been informed of this before our arrival.

I had a wonderful stay at Quaggasfontein Guesthouse. The cottage was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a microwave and braai facilities. The winter sheets, electric blanket, and aircon made for a cozy and comfortable night's sleep. The large shower with hot water was a treat. Despite being located on a farm, the wifi was of good quality. The peaceful and quiet night was exactly what I needed after a busy time in Pretoria. I will definitely be returning to Quaggasfontein in the future. I highly recommend this place.
