My recent stay at River Place Manor was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with an electric blanket that kept me cozy on those chilly winter nights. The lounge fire was a perfect place to relax and unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner at the onsite restaurant. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, adding to the overall serenity of my stay. I will definitely be returning to this marvelous establishment.

This hidden gem offers a fantastic location, with beautiful views of the Orange River and nearby vineyards. The rooms are excellent, with comfy beds and well-stocked bathrooms. The friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, helping with airport transfers and offering a safe place to store belongings. The breakfast is top-notch, with a variety of options made to order. The well-secured setting allows for peace of mind, and the proximity to excellent local restaurants is a bonus.

Some guests mentioned a small issue with the lack of bath/shower mats in the tiled floors.

As a disabled guest, I absolutely loved the accessibility of River Place Manor. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The large shower was perfect for me and the modern decor added a touch of luxury to the experience. The kitchenette was a great bonus and allowed me to prepare my own meals. The highlight for me was the excellent patio braai, where I enjoyed some delicious BBQ. The stunning Orange River view from the guesthouse was simply breathtaking. I had a wonderful and relaxing time at River Place Manor.

The location next to the Orange River is perfect for someone who wants to be in direct touch with nature. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The food, including the hot breakfast and the delicious sirloin steak, is excellent.

Felt really like home, no reason to complain.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of luxury. the exclusive amenities and room advantages were beyond amazing. I enjoyed lounging by the outdoor swimming pool, equipped with sun loungers and beach umbrellas. the sun terrace and garden area offered a calm and serene atmosphere.

The only minor issue was the slow service at the reception. the staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs.

During our city break we had the most amazing experience! we were welcomed with a pitcher of sherry and glasses which was such a lovely personal touch. the location was perfect with a stunning view of the river. the room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the complimentary bar fridge and coffee station. we had the best lamb shanks ever at the restaurant. Such a delight! Lastly, the staff was very welcoming and helpful which made our stay feel extra special.

Although our stay was incredible, there were just a few minor things that could be improved. the parking area could be managed better.
