incredible stay at a guest lodge in oudtshoorn! exceeded expectations, felt at home with the attention to detail, friendly owners, and stunning terrace. breakfast buffet and shared living room were a highlight. highly recommended, wish we could've stayed longer!

We absolutely loved our stay here for 2 nights! The cottage/cabin had an awesome rustic feel to it. The double room was plush with some antique/period pieces. The staff were fantastic, always on hand, and really friendly. The owners are such great people! The hotel facilities were great, including the welcome drink on the deck and the honesty bar. The location was perfect, with a great view and close to attractions. The breakfast was excellent and satisfying.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful guest lodge in Oudtshoorn! the breakfasts were absolutely fabulous, with a great variety and delicious food. the terrace was the perfect spot to relax, sunbathe, and take a dip in the small pool. And, the best part was gazing at the stunning African night sky while sipping on drinks from the bar after dinner. the location was ideal, with plenty of activities and attractions in the surrounding areas. Plus, there were some terrific and affordable restaurants nearby for a taste of local cuisine.

Everything was top-notch, from the warm welcome we received from the hosts to the impeccable cleanliness of the place. This guest lodge truly exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable and relaxing experience during our city break.

For breakfast, it would have been even better if they had provided some rusks to enjoy with my tea in the morning.

Felt like visiting family, no complaints.

I recently stayed at Riverside Guest Lodge for a relaxing getaway. The cottages were beautifully arranged, cozy, and filled with lovely details. The breakfast was delicious, and the self-serving bar had an endless selection of wines and drinks. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the owners Elza and Albert were perfect hosts. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Riverside Guest Lodge! The log cabin I stayed in had so much character and charm. The honesty bar was a nice touch and the staff were really helpful.

Although there were a couple of drawbacks mentioned in the database, such as the cabin being located on a busy roadside and the wet room shower being a bit of a hassle, I personally didn't find them to be major issues.

Christmas at this lodge was an absolute delight! the warm and friendly hosts made us feel right at home and the cozy atmosphere was perfect for the festive season. the delicious breakfast served on the terrace was a great way to start the day, especially with the fresh fruit and eggs that were available. the location of the lodge was ideal, nestled in a quiet spot overlooking the river, yet still close to the town center. We also loved relaxing on the large wooden terrace and taking a dip in the small pool - it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

There really weren't any negative aspects to our stay at this lodge. Everything was well-maintained and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
