During our stay at Sand River Guest House, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and position of our unit. It was well-maintained and offered a good level of privacy, away from other guests. The staff, particularly Sibi and Richard, were friendly and helpful, making our experience enjoyable. The location of the guest house, surrounded by a beautiful garden and river, added to the overall charm. The breakfast, though disorganized at times, was made to order and delicious. We also appreciated the outside shower in our room. our time at Sand River Guest House felt like a little slice of heaven outside of the busy city.

I recently stayed at this fantastic 4-star hotel and I must say I had a truly wonderful experience. First of all, I fell in love with the hotel's beautiful location in a charming garden by the river. It provided a serene and tranquil atmosphere that was simply delightful. The room I stayed in was clean and cozy, with all the amenities I could ask for. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The service was top-notch, with prompt room service, excellent housekeeping, and even a laundry service if needed. The free Wi-Fi in the room was fast and efficient, which was a great plus. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort and quality services provided by this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends. It is truly a gem that offers a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Had a great city break staying in this lovely little paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always willing to offer a smile and helpful advice. The location was perfect, providing easy access to all the attractions we wanted to see. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room which was a unique and peaceful hideaway, with the peaceful sounds of nature providing a backdrop to our stay. The little pool was a welcome addition, offering a place to cool off and relax in the beautiful surroundings.

While the grounds were nice, they could do with a little bit more care and attention to bring them up to their full potential. We did notice that some of the furniture in the rooms was getting a little old and tired, with creaky wooden beds and curtains that could do with a wash.

We had an amazing stay at this guest house. The location was perfect, very close to the busy Rivonia Village mall and many surrounding restaurants. The well-manicured garden provided a peaceful atmosphere, and we could even feel the river nearby. The room was comfortable with crisp sheets and the bathroom was clean. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed swimming in the pool. great value for money.
