We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who personally escorted us to the beautifully restored lounge. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings was impressive, creating a luxurious and comfortable ambiance. The rooms were thoughtfully configured with couples and families in mind, providing all the necessary amenities. The sumptuous breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory was a delightful way to start the day.

The satellite TV channels frequently lost signal, which was quite frustrating.

The lovely Honeymoon suite, with its beautiful quirky decor, offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Fidley's incredibly helpful and friendly service, including a delicious afternoon tea, adds to the wow factor. The room's underfloor heating, fresh towel robes, and luxurious truffles create a truly unforgettable experience. The hotel also organizes amazing activities like horseback riding. The old-world charm, comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast make for a simply fantastic stay at this wonderful place.

I had the most incredible stay at this stunning boutique hotel. the attention to detail in the beautifully decorated rooms and the extensive restoration work are truly remarkable. the hospitality of the staff, especially Fidney and Alison, made me feel incredibly welcome. I was even treated to complimentary afternoon tea upon arrival. the roaring fire in my room and the hot water bottles in my bed kept me warm and cozy. a wonderful experience that I can't wait to repeat!

As a tour operator, I stay in many hotels and guest houses, and Schoone Oordt nails it. The attention to detail is superb, with delightful staff like Fidney who provide a warm welcome and fascinating chats. The service is incredible, with a lit fireplace in our room, warm water bottles in bed, and even a freshly washed car. The food is exceptional, and the accommodation design is beautiful and special. A real treat for guests!
