We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the guest house and found out that we had been upgraded to a spacious room with a beautiful view. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, from the comfortable bed and luxurious linen to the little table on the balcony where we could sip wine and enjoy the scenery. The breakfasts were delicious and the honesty bar with treats and wine was a nice touch. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest house.

The only minor drawback was that it would have been nice to have some help with our luggage to and from the guest house. Other than that, our experience was fantastic.

We particularly enjoyed the option of having both a shower and a tub in our en-suite bathroom. The staff provided friendly and attentive service, and the breakfast offered was one of the best we had during our two-week trip throughout South Africa.

There was some building noise from across the street that was out of the hotel's control, but it didn't impact our overall experience too much. we found that there were some minor details that could have been improved, such as not having matches for the fireplace and the pool being a bit too chilly for our liking.
