I had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. The breakfast provided was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of options, including up to 10 different types of cheese. The location of the hotel was perfect - quiet, yet still close to the center and some fantastic restaurants. The garden and pool area were also really nice, providing a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This guest house is well situated, within walking distance to restaurants. The lovely backyard with a garden and swimming pool is a great place to relax. The owners are friendly and attentive, and the homemade bread at breakfast is delicious.

I had the pleasure of staying at this guest house during my recent trip and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, with the room being comfortable and attractive. Everything was in perfect working order, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The hotel facilities were also impressive, with a handy pool that was perfect for those scorching hot days. As for the location, it was ideal. Situated in the city centre, it was within walking distance of numerous good restaurants, making it convenient to plan meals out. Additionally, the staff were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, informative, and incredibly helpful. They provided me with a wealth of useful information, including recommendations for things to do in the area. my stay was made all the more enjoyable by the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location for planning meals out and things to do in the area, and the incredibly friendly staff.

Comfortable beds, well-maintained properties. Best breakfast in the Cape region. Friendly hosts with great local recommendations. Lovely bar with local beers, wines, and spirits. Hopeful for a return visit.

We stayed at Gumtree Guest House for 2 nights and it was the perfect place to stay in Oudtshoorn! The hosts, Phil and Linda, were phenomenal. Their easy manner and exceptional recommendations made our stay even better. They even arranged dinner bookings for us and their attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. The beautiful setting, great little bar, and fantastic breakfast added to the overall experience. We loved the relaxed pool area and the opportunity to have a sundowner with Phil and Linda. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel.

The rooms are comfortable with attention to detail, and the hosts provide excellent service, offering helpful tips and making restaurant reservations. The breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of options including homemade bread, delicious cheese, and cold cuts. Additionally, the guest house has multiple outdoor areas and pools for relaxation.

There is a slight issue with the mattresses being on the hard side, which might affect sleep quality.
