We had the most amazing experience at this place. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views of the surrounding bush. It's like being in the middle of nature, surrounded by the local wildlife. The service here was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel like personal guests. The food was also exceptional, with a delicious dinner in the wine cellar and a breakfast fit for a king. We even got a great tip from the owner's son to do a cheetah walk in a nearby private park, which was an incredible experience. we had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back.

I had the most incredible stay at Umvangati House. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was coming home. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the family-run boutique accommodation was unforgettable. The attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable, with stunning views from the balcony. The highlight was sitting on the terrace by the pool, watching the mountains turn red during sunset. The food prepared by Lidia was beyond words, especially the dinner in their self-built wine cellar. The wild cat, Kira, was amazing to see, and the nearby waterhole allowed us to witness wild animals passing by all day long. The location was perfect for hiking and day trips to Kruger. I highly recommend this beautiful resort.

Absolutely stunning! the rooms were immaculate with everything you need to have a comfortable stay, Nespresso machine, mini bar, and spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding bush. the highlight of the trip was enjoying the local cuisine, and the wine cellar is a must visit. the location was perfect to get out of the city and enjoy the peaceful countryside.

The handrails on the suite decks clashed with the deck chairs, obstructing the beautiful view of the waterhole. Despite this minor inconvenience, it had no effect on our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
