This place is a true gem! I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The location was perfect, with Gowrie golf course just a short distance away. It was also conveniently located near all the must-do areas of the meander. I loved the peacefulness of being by the Mooi river and enjoyed soaking up the winter sunshine in the beautiful garden.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the attractions of the Midlands area, allowing families to explore the treasures of nature.

Over the Easter weekend, my friends and I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a hotel tucked away in the lush countryside. We were immediately struck by the stunning natural surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere of the area. The hotel offered a wonderful trail walk that led us through scenic vistas where we got a great sense of the natural beauty of the region. The excellent breakfast served by the friendly staff was an added bonus. our rooms were well-appointed and offered a great view of the countryside.

The only negative aspect of our stay was the heat in our room. The weather was sunny and hot outside, which made it challenging to find a comfortable temperature inside the room.

Our recent stay at Waterford Manor was absolutely wonderful. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lovely gardens and towering oak trees, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. We stayed in a luxurious room with stunning views of the garden, woods, and river. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The English breakfast offered in the morning was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the KZN Midlands, with many tourist hotspots nearby. We also enjoyed the nice walks available in the area. The pool area offered breathtaking views of the surroundings, and there was ample secure parking available. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with various means of warming the room in the winter months. Even though we visited in the summer, we could appreciate the potential charm of this place during the colder months, sitting by the fireplace in the lounging area. I will highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Although there were a few minor issues mentioned in the database reviews, such as curtains not closing properly and some maintenance issues in the cottage, these did not detract from our overall positive experience at Waterford Manor.
