The room had a charming XIX century vibe with high ceilings and antique furniture. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was clean and well-maintained. The large window allowed plenty of natural light to enter. The dining room, as shown in the pictures, was glamorous. a great experience at Legendary Hotel Sovietsky.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The atmosphere here is amazing, with its Soviet-era decoration and grand interiors. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast had plenty of choices and we enjoyed the nice atmosphere in the breakfast room, especially with the live piano and harp playing. The service here was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff like Alex.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the metro and a bit out of the center. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station, Dinamo.

The hotel's location was a bit of a downside, as it was situated in a gloomy neighborhood and it took at least ten minutes to walk to the closest metro station. Additionally, the soundproofing of the rooms was not very effective, as I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the corridor.

The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of choices, and we were treated to the delightful sounds of a harp or piano playing. The free bottles of water in our room each day were a nice touch. The location, although surrounded by some traffic, felt safe, and the nearest underground station was only a 15-minute walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a unique Russian experience and a touch of adventure.
