my stay at patatran village exceeded my expectations during my returning visit to la digue. the breathtaking views, amazing snorkeling opportunities right from the beach, and the attentive service really stood out. the atmosphere was authentic and filled with charm, complementing the stunning surroundings perfectly.

The air conditioning was non-existent for three days, leading to sleepless nights!!! Bicycles for rent were in horrendous condition, and the WiFi was painfully slow in the evenings!!! Overall, the place felt overpriced for what it offered!!!

For the best snorkeling experience, venture right from the beach and swim about 30-50 meters to discover vibrant coral and marine life, including sea turtles.

the staff were fantastic, especially Nathalie, who made delicious cocktails while we were just a short walk from the beautiful Anse Patates beach and the serene Veuve Nature Reserve, making it an ideal spot for our weekend strolls.

Fresh flowers added a nice touch, too. The only downside? Limited dining options at the hotel, but the atmosphere was great, especially for a special occasion like my wife's birthday.
