i had a fantastic stay at far east! the location is super convenient, just a short walk to the city center with plenty of shopping and food options nearby. the hotel facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pool area, perfect for relaxing. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary requests at breakfast, which was really appreciated.

the breakfast was a chaotic, noisy disaster, and the food was just average, how embarrassing! my room had a horrible, old smell, and I expected at least some fresh air. if I had my way, I would have woudl ve been upgraded for free for all these incidents, but no special treatment ever came my way. shocking, really.

The family room was spacious and comfortable enough for three of us. We had a nice touch since the staff welcomed us with sweets and provided a map so we could explore the culture nearby, which made the whole experience feel special.

It wasn't inexpensive but considering the amenities, it was still acceptable.

The breakfast at Village Hotel Bugis was varied and delicious, featuring options like fluffy nasi lemak and freshly brewed coffee, which my family thoroughly enjoyed each morning.

The wait time at check-in and check-out was quite long, averaging around 10 to 15 minutes, which could be frustrating after a long day of exploring.

The hotel desperately needs maintenance!!! The bathroom basin was cracked and did not work properly. There were not enough USB ports for charging devices. The pool area has loose and broken wooden planks that pose a safety hazard for children. Fix these issues immediately!!!

The family room offered ample space, accommodating our luggage and allowing for easy movement. The proximity to the MRT made getting around a breeze, and the fantastic view of the nearby mosque from the room was a highlight. Breakfast included delicious regional dishes, adding to the overall culinary experience. The staff were notably friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. However, noise from the hallway was occasionally disruptive, slightly affecting our rest.

All good, fulfills its purpose. Comfortable beds and ample power outlets next to the bed.

We loved how spacious our family room was, and the breakfast offered plenty of tasty options for everyone! We also enjoyed some downtime at the lovely outdoor pool area and sun loungers. Only downside was a bit of hallway noise at times, but it didn’t ruin our stay. 😊

The location is fabulous, close to the vibrant Arab Street and excellent for grabbing lunch or dinner! ! The family room was spacious and clean, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.
