We recently stayed at a hotel in Bratislava and had a great experience. The staff at Matysak were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the reception. They went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay and even stored our luggage before check-in so we could explore the city. The location of the hotel was perfect, just an 8-minute walk from the main train station and easily accessible to the city center by tram or bus. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a handy minibar. The breakfast included in our room rate was varied and delicious, with fresh bread, eggs, yogurt, fruits. The hotel also had a wine shop and restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed.

One evening, the hotel's restaurant was closed for a private function without prior notice. However, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by offering room service.

The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, making it easy to access for those traveling by train. The close proximity to the train station also means that it is well connected to the airport bus, making it convenient for travelers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with very good showers and comfortable beds. The staff at the reception are helpful and friendly. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of choices at breakfast.

I had a great weekend getaway at a hotel in a convenient location. The main train station was just a 5-minute walk away, and downtown Bratislava was only a 15-minute stroll. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful throughout my visit, making me feel welcome and attended to. The rooms were clean and had a sophisticated atmosphere like a stylish salon. I even received a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.

The only minor drawback was the mattress, which didn't quite agree with my back. It would be great if the hotel could upgrade their mattresses for a more comfortable sleep.
