Couldn't stay longer.

Located near the picturesque lake, our room at this hotel had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with both a shower and a bath. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet included delicious homemade granola and excellent coffee. The hotel also had an indoor pool and sauna area for guests to enjoy.

The steep uphill climb to reach the hotel, especially for those without their own transport.

As youngsters, we loved the easy access to the train station, making it convenient to explore the area. The rooms were comfortable with a delightful balcony overlooking the stunning lake. The walk-in shower was a nice touch. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the elevator made getting to our rooms a breeze. The encrypted WiFi ensured a secure and hassle-free internet connection. The restaurant treated us to delicious local cuisine and an extensive breakfast buffet.

Stunning view and amazing food! We got complementary drinks and snacks on arrival which was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel is located right by a beautiful lake and it was great to take a dip in the swimming pool while looking out at the scenery.

The noise insulation in the rooms was quite poor and we were woken up early by noisy neighbors on one of the mornings. while we enjoyed our weekend, we would have appreciated better soundproofing and internet access.

Additionally, having parking on site and the convenience of free bike rentals were definite perks.

During my stay at Hotel Triglav, I was delighted by the stunning views of the lake and the charming atmosphere. The breakfast had a delightful Slovenian touch and the shower in my room worked perfectly. The location of the hotel was also convenient, being just a short walk from the railway station. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable stay.

The wine tasting in the hotel's wine cellar was a highlight of my Christmas stay. The venue was beautiful and had a lovely view of the lake. The young sommelier did a great job of explaining the wines and they were delicious. The hotel itself was charming, with antiques everywhere and a fascinating history. The central air in the room was a great comfort, and the free bikes and free breakfast were added bonuses.

The only downside was the restaurant experience. We asked if there were other menu options and were told there weren't, but then noticed other guests around us had different menus with lower prices.

For the price we paid, we got a lot of value! Our room had a stunning view of the lake from the balcony and the spacious bathroom was a plus. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area but still easy to access the lake. The staff at Triglav were amazing, accommodating our requests and offering great recommendations.

Food for breakfast could have been a bit better with more variety.
