This fabulous resort is perfectly located for easy access to a variety of restaurants, all within walking distance. It is right on the beach with direct access onto the Mijas boardwalk, offering a lovely beach experience. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with two bathrooms, making it perfect for families. the staff provide excellent service and the breakfast at the on-site café is top-notch. The facilities, such as the pools and mini supermarket, add to the convenience of the stay.

The only downside is the lack of a washing machine in the apartment, although there is a laundry facility on-site for a fee.

The resort had a comfortable vibe and was located in a prime spot near shops and restaurants. the buildings were well-maintained and looked nice and clean. the location was right next to the sea, providing beautiful views. the resort also had a good restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices.

One major downside was the lack of apartment cleaning. During our 10-day stay, there was only one cleaning service, which made it difficult to keep the place clean, especially without a vacuum.

I was delighted with the large and spacious apartment at Macdonald. It had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen with everything I needed to cook a full meal. The balcony offered a stunning view of the sea, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. I also enjoyed the convenience of having a TV with ample channels, which came in handy when I was feeling unwell during my stay. The pool area, although crowded at times, had lifeguards ensuring safety, and the adult pool provided a tranquil alternative. The location was great, with a fabulous boardwalk right outside the resort, leading to various nearby restaurants and bars. The beach was within walking distance, and the newly built walkway along the beach made it even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of cleaning in some dishes and the occasional noise from renovations, I found my overall experience to be excellent at Macdonald Dona Lola Resort. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at a resort in a beautiful location with well-equipped apartments, stunning sea views, and excellent restaurants on-site. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure all our needs were met. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property were top-notch, with a lovely pool area and easy access to the beach and nearby amenities.

That the morning meal could have been improved, perhaps by offering a wider variety of options.

The staff were extremely good, helpful and responsive. They offered Spanish lessons and organized wine tastings and tours. the apartment was well equipped and clean. the on-site restaurants had a good choice of food.

There were issues with gaining access to the building and noisy neighbors. the rain overflow hitting the air conditioning units created loud banging noises all night.

The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with two bathrooms perfect for our family. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the pool towels were provided. The grounds were beautifully maintained and colorful. The location was right next to the beach and had a great selection of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there was plenty of activities for the kids at the Kids' Club. There was also plenty to do and explore in this region.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Waterfalls block out road noise. Recommended restaurants nearby. Great services, clean apartments. Sea view from balcony. Good lifeguard control. On-site restaurant is nice. Entertainment staff is good during the day. Many easily accessible restaurants.

We had a fantastic new year stay at this resort! the apartments were bright and clean, with comfortable beds and a great selection of UK television channels. the location was perfect, with tons of eateries nearby and a supermarket close by for all our needs. We also loved the three swimming pools, especially the heated ones, which were perfect for a winter getaway.

It would have been nice to have our room cleaned and towels changed, especially since we were there for a week. the pool setup and management could have been better.

I had a great experience at the resort. the property and surrounding grounds were impressively clean, including the pool. Lifeguards were always on duty, ensuring a safe environment. the apartments were very nice with fresh, comfortable beds and linens. the location was ideal, close to the beach and with a great children's program available. There were also plenty of options for meals, including a small store for necessities. it was a fantastic place to stay with friendly staff and lots to do.

I recently stayed at Macdonald Dona Lola Resort for a week-long beach getaway. The location right on the beach and boardwalk was perfect for our long walks. We had a great selection of restaurants and bars in the nearby area of Dona Lola, and the entertainment at La Plaza was also enjoyable. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and gym on-site provided excellent options for relaxation and fitness. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food at the restaurant near the pool was delicious. Plus, my grandsons absolutely loved the activities director Francisco and can't wait to come back!

We recently stayed at Macdonald Dona Lola Resort for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. The staff, including Eduardo and the team, were fantastic and always provided great advice and a friendly atmosphere. The evening entertainment and meals were top-notch, and we especially enjoyed the daily happy hour drinks. The accommodation was of a high standard, with beautifully maintained gardens. We also appreciated the early check-in that was arranged for us, allowing us to make the most of our day. we highly recommend this place for a great stay.
