This fabulous resort is perfectly located for easy access to a variety of restaurants, all within walking distance. It is right on the beach with direct access onto the Mijas boardwalk, offering a lovely beach experience. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with two bathrooms, making it perfect for families. the staff provide excellent service and the breakfast at the on-site café is top-notch. The facilities, such as the pools and mini supermarket, add to the convenience of the stay.

The only downside is the lack of a washing machine in the apartment, although there is a laundry facility on-site for a fee.

The resort had a comfortable vibe and was located in a prime spot near shops and restaurants. the buildings were well-maintained and looked nice and clean. the location was right next to the sea, providing beautiful views. the resort also had a good restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices.

One major downside was the lack of apartment cleaning. During our 10-day stay, there was only one cleaning service, which made it difficult to keep the place clean, especially without a vacuum.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the boardwalk and seafront, with easy access to beautiful beaches. The La Plaza Beach restaurant within the complex was a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious food. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a clean and tidy pool area and a convenient pool bar that served fantastic food at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I was delighted with the large and spacious apartment at Macdonald. It had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen with everything I needed to cook a full meal. The balcony offered a stunning view of the sea, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. I also enjoyed the convenience of having a TV with ample channels, which came in handy when I was feeling unwell during my stay. The pool area, although crowded at times, had lifeguards ensuring safety, and the adult pool provided a tranquil alternative. The location was great, with a fabulous boardwalk right outside the resort, leading to various nearby restaurants and bars. The beach was within walking distance, and the newly built walkway along the beach made it even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of cleaning in some dishes and the occasional noise from renovations, I found my overall experience to be excellent at Macdonald Dona Lola Resort. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
