Ateneo puerta del sol has a fantastic central location. it's super easy to walk to attractions like gran via. the staff is super friendly and helpful. my room had a cute little balcony, and the internet worked great. breakfast was decent too, just enough to start the day right.

The air conditioning was inconsistent and often turned off at night!!! Also, the noise isolation from the street was inadequate, making it hard to sleep!!! Cleanliness in the bathrooms left a lot to be desired!!!

During my stay, the air conditioning was inconsistent, making it hard to sleep comfortably, especially as I struggled with the heat. I also encountered a strange odor in the room that was quite unpleasant at first, although it seemed to fade after a while. While breakfast options were present, they really lacked variety, leaving me unsatisfied, especially compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Madrid.

We love the perfect location just a few minutes' walk from major attractions like Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. The breakfast options are diverse and tasty, catering to various preferences. Our room features a charming balcony with a lovely view, making our stay feel special.

Street noise can be disruptive for light sleepers at night.

i was quite disappointed with my stay. the room had a weird smell and there was mold in the bathroom, not exactly the 5-star experience i envisioned. i also thought a welcome gift or upgrade would’ve been nice as a gesture of goodwill considering the inconveniences. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Fantastic location. with friendly, professional staff who really go above and beyond! The breakfast, served until noon, is a wonderful perk, especially for late risers. Housekeeping keeps everything spotless. truly a gem in a bustling area!

It was just a strong match for a flash stay in Madrid with definitely value for money. The staff was responsive and quickly fixed the air conditioning issue, which made sleeping much more comfortable. Make sure to check the air conditioning as soon as you arrive!

On arrival, the air conditioning was off and it was hot as hell, but the staff were quick to sort it. Later, I had a nice breakfast every morning, variety was good and kept me going for the day.

Incredible location just steps from both Gran Via and Sol! The room was cozy, with a nice vibe. Breakfast had just the right amount of options to get me going each day. There's easy access to transport, and the staff went out of their way to help me find my way around and suggested great dining spots!
