I spent three days exploring the city and the hotel's location was perfect. It was just a short distance from La Rambla and the Statue of Columbus. The room was amazing, and I loved having the attached balcony to relax on after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel's position right near the metro made it convenient to get around the city easily. it was a great value for the price.

Despite a few good things, my outrageously noisy and disappointing stay in the city was not worth it. The complimentary champagne and breakfast provided to all the guests made for a good start to the overhyped New Year's celebration. The location was convenient and accessible to the major tourist spots and the popular nightlife areas, which was essential during the busy event.

On the other hand, my room was heckled with a persistent noise from the street and the nightclub across from the building, which lasted to the early hours of the morning. The bed was not comfortable, and two extra-thin sheets were provided along with a doona that offered little warmness during the cold night.
