We had a fantastic stay at the hostel! Bastardo is in a great location, just a short walk from Gran Via and central Madrid. The rooms were spacious and offered more privacy than other hostels we've stayed at. They were also bright and very clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we loved spending time in the rooftop garden, enjoying a coffee in the sun. The reception area and bar downstairs had a friendly atmosphere, making us feel really comfortable during our stay. we had a wonderful time at Bastardo!

I also loved the fact that there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. my experience at Bastardo exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

loved our stay at this retro hostel, it surpassed our previous madrid experience. staff went above and beyond, showers were great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. felt safe and had a fabulous time. highly recommend for single travelers, especially females.
