I recently had a pleasant stay at a one-star hotel in Barcelona. the hotel, located in the Gothic Quarter, exceeded my expectations. I was assigned a room in the annex, which I believe is better than the other location nearby. the room was spacious and even had a lovely balcony. I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. When I mentioned that having a refrigerator would make the room even better, one was promptly delivered to my room within 10 minutes. They were also quick to fulfill any other requests, such as providing extra towels. the hotel's location was fantastic, with many great local restaurants nearby. It was convenient to explore the city on foot or by train/taxi.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the Gothic Quarter. The location was superb, being in a super area near the Arc de Triomf metro station, close to everything. The cleanliness was impeccable, with my room being very clean and felt safe. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing detailed instructions on how to get to my room after hours. Plus, the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep.

During my stay at Brustar Gotic-Centric, I was amazed by the exceptional service provided by the owner. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Even though I had booked a single room, he generously offered me a free upgrade to a spacious double room. I was pleasantly surprised to find a tea and coffee maker in the room, which is a rare find in Spanish hotels. The owner even personally brought me a fan when the air conditioning was being fixed. I appreciated the small touches like offering a complimentary bottle of water instead of charging for it. The location was perfect, with the Barcelona Nord bus station within a short 7-minute walk and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The room itself was nicely decorated, and the contemporary bathroom with a power shower was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's proximity to the center and the metro station made it convenient for exploring Barcelona and the coast. my experience at Brustar Gotic-Centric was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location near the Arc of Triomf, with great restaurants and parks nearby. The hotel provided a blowdryer, AC, and a water boiler for coffee and tea, which were much appreciated amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful.

So many dining options! I ate my way through the city. Staff were helpful, I relied on them for everything. Budget prices with three-star comfort, I felt like a VIP.

Who needs a smoke-free environment anyway? I loved breathing in that refreshing mix of cigarette smoke and deodorant.
