Hotel provided excellent service with spacious rooms, stylish design, and a lovely welcome drink. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in any hotel. Convenient location for Camino walkers and has its own restaurant. Parking available for bikes. Nice terrace by the river. a great choice for a comfortable stay.

This hotel is a dream! The location couldn't be better - right on the river and in the heart of the town. The staff is outstanding and went out of their way to make sure everything was to my liking. The room was very comfortable and had great amenities like a mini-bar and air conditioning. I loved relaxing on the terrace and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was also fantastic with plenty of options to choose from.

I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Ideal spot for starting your Camino journey, with luggage transfer service available for a small fee. Basic breakfast provided. Our taxi driver had some trouble finding the hotel but once there the proximity to the Camino way was unbeatable. we enjoyed our stay.

Despite the hotel needing some updates, the attentive staff, ample parking, and proximity to attractions made it a good value for the price. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

The value for money at this hotel is really great and the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, close to the Camino route and all the shops, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location near the Camino de Santiago and the hotel's close proximity to the start of the trail. The comfortable rooms and the ability to open the windows for fresh air were also a plus. The hotel's café and restaurant on site were convenient, despite the limited menu during the quiet time of the year. The outdoor sitting area and roomy lobby were nice amenities to relax in after a long day of biking.

We felt very welcome at Hotel Alfonso IX and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

I spent hours enjoying the profuse buffet breakfast, and the cafeteria is great value for lunch. The rooms were nicely furnished, reasonably spacious and the bathrooms have a bath which was great for a weary traveler. , the hotel is located in a great spot.

I found the check-in service to be quite poor, with the clerk behaving like she was doing us a favor. There was no room service menu in the room, and the TV channels were limited.
