We recently had a wonderful stay at a place between Barrio Gothic and Barceloneta. Casa Lirio was, without a doubt, one of the best places we've stayed in Barcelona. The Deluxe room on the second floor was spacious, bright, and had a lovely balcony. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. The staff was helpful and allowed us to use a fridge on the first floor. The location was perfect, with la Rambla, the beach, and great restaurants nearby. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. We highly recommend Casa Lirio and will definitely stay there again!

we had a lovely stay at Casa Lirio. the room was beautiful and had a balcony, the beds were really comfortable and the whole place was clean and airy. the location was perfect for exploring the city as it was close to the Gothic Quarter, La Ramblas, and the metro. We also appreciated having lots of dining options nearby and a supermarket for convenience. the breakfast buffet was delicious and a great way to start the day.

On the negative side, the advertising of the hotel did not align with the actual experience. the room we booked did not have proper windows or ventilation, resulting in a claustrophobic atmosphere.

They were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the cleanliness of the room was exceptional, everything was spotless and well-maintained. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet street but still close enough to explore all the nearby attractions. Plus, we loved the fact that there was a beautiful garden terrace where we could relax and enjoy the weather.

The lack of facilities in the room, such as a fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool. It would have been nice to have that convenience.
