The attending employee went above and beyond, providing incredible advice on where to eat and what to see in town. The room was jaw-droppingly large and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the train station and close to the Camino de Santiago trail. Although there was no food or drinks upon arrival, the comfortable and clean rooms made up for it. I was also grateful for the luggage storage, paid airport shuttle, lift, and wheelchair access. It was great that no pets were allowed and there was no smoking on site. All in all, my experience at Casa Matias was top-notch!

As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I absolutely loved the convenient location near the Camino. The property was also near a laundry and supermarket, making it easy to take care of practicalities. Additionally, the proximity to shops and the nice bathroom were definite pluses.

Additionally, there were good dining options nearby and check-in was easy. The building had an elevator, which was a plus.

I stayed at Casa Matias for a few nights and it was perfect for my early train on Monday. The staff was really helpful and the room was great. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the train station and there are some good restaurants nearby. If you're starting your Camino in Sarria, this is an ideal starting point as it's close to the bus station and not far from the trail. The staff was patient with non-Spanish speakers, which was much appreciated.

Poor water temperature and low water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. The rough and sandpaper-like bathroom towels were unpleasant to use.
