I was warmly welcomed at the West Cliff Inn and given a thorough tour of the beautiful Victorian house. My room was clean and quiet, although a bit warmer than I prefer due to the hot weather. The classic interior design added to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. I highly recommend this place.

As women traveling alone, we appreciated the friendly and competent staff, the spacious and well-decorated rooms, and the lovely ocean view. The location was ideal, with the beach and boardwalk right across the street. The breakfast provided delicious and varied options.

During our stay in this cozy hotel, we were just a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach and pier, and not far from the lively boardwalk. The rooms were spacious with lovely wooden moldings and marble bathrooms. We appreciated the free treats like cookies and cake along with the fireplace in each room. Staff was extremely friendly, and the homemade breakfast quiche was delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised with the tasty breakfast options, including blueberry pancakes and vegan frittata. The location near the beach and boardwalk was very convenient. Although there was no fan, opening the window helped cool the room. I recommend this inn.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed with a complimentary drink and snacks. The location was perfect - just steps away from the beach and close to many different restaurants and shops. The room was cozy and clean, and had everything I needed including a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, and free toiletries. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering tours and ticket assistance as well as recommendations for nearby activities and attractions.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Great location! Walking distance to downtown restaurants and the Santa Clara boardwalk. The scenic West Cliff Drive is also nearby, perfect for enjoying the ocean views and wildlife.

Uncomfortable room in the summer. The air conditioner was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep.

Spent Christmas at a fantastic inn with two free goodies – homemade cookies and snacks - offered all day! its scenic location provided a grand view of the ocean and boardwalk. Finally, we always felt welcome thanks to the warm and helpful staff.

When we visited, prices skyrocketed, which made it hard for us to afford future visits.
