The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. it was great value for the money and I would definitely recommend it.

Great breakfast buffet at a good value. Amazing view from balcony rooms, overlooking gothic alleys and pedestrian traffic. Safe establishment in a vibrant neighborhood.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices, considering the great location this hotel offers. Speaking of location, it couldn't have been better. Close to las Ramblas and the beach, it was easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Additionally, the rooms were large, well-appointed, and had all the basic amenities one could need.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. Nothing to complain about!

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the city. It was right in the heart of the historic center, close to main attractions and within walking distance to the beach. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The little bar area was a nice touch, offering reasonably priced snacks and drinks.

The breakfast service could have been better. The lack of bowls, mugs, and a working coffee machine made it quite chaotic for guests, and the single waitress seemed overwhelmed.

Upgraded to Catalonia Plaza Catalunya due to hotel closing. Got a room with pool and balcony for free. Great location, amazing spa. Very satisfied, will return.

My stay at the Catalonia Avinyo was absolutely delightful. As a first-time visitor to Barcelona, I was thrilled with the hotel's prime location. It was a wonderful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas, allowing me easy access to nearby attractions and a true cultural experience. The staff members were professional, helpful, and kind, ensuring that I felt welcome throughout my stay. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, and I particularly enjoyed the surprise of a charming coffee shop on the premises. The upgraded superior room on the sixth floor was fantastic, providing me with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a luxurious shower, robes, and slippers. I had a fantastic time and would definitely stay at the Catalonia Avinyo again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, and there were plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel had excellent Wi-Fi and convenient facilities like a fitness center and business center. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and quality amenities. it was great value for money and better than other 4-star hotels I've stayed at. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The hotel is centrally located in the Gothic section of Barcelona, perfect for exploring both the old and new parts of the city. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotless. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom had ample supplies. The staff was courteous and helpful, providing thoughtful gestures like chocolates and personalized recommendations for restaurants.

Best location yet! Loved being in the middle of everything with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful and recommend a fantastic local spot for dinner. The lobby had a great pastry selection, perfect for on-the-go snacks. The bed and linens were top-notch. Breakfast offered several delicious local specialties to try. Plus, two blocks away there's a bustling plaza that's definitely worth a visit.

Only downside was being moved to a different hotel in the chain four hours before check-in without prior notice. The new hotel was confused about the arrangement and we didn't receive the promised upgrade.
