The public area was stylish and modern, with a jaw-dropping bar/lounge area and a mind-blowing restaurant. The check-in and check-out process was super smooth, thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the vibrant old town and surrounded by a safe area for our car. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of options. We were pleasantly surprised by the 24-hour reception and 24-hour security, which made us feel extremely safe throughout our stay. The hotel also had a laundry service and a business centre, which were incredibly convenient. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel for a super comfortable and memorable stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was great - it offered affordable prices without compromising on quality. Secondly, the location was perfect, situated in the heart of the city center with everything within walking distance. Being just opposite a park and a church provided a lovely atmosphere. Lastly, the rooms, though basic and small, were extremely clean and provided all the necessary amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot summer weather.

The bathroom was roomy and had a jaw-dropping bath and a fantastic shower. The fluffy bath towels were absolutely top-notch. The reception staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, and their English was superb. I couldn't believe that they offered free bottles of chilled water near the reception - a truly splendid touch considering the unusually hot weather. And let's talk about the breakfast - it was absolutely amazing! Not only did they have the usual Continental items, but they also had bacon and scrambled eggs, which was a delightful surprise. With fresh fruit and all, it was definitely top value at just Euro 7. The location was perfect, being reasonably priced and within an easy walking distance to the main center. I would definitely, without a doubt, use this hotel again.

On the positive side, the hotel is located on the edge of a friendly neighborhood park, offering a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance, making it convenient for guests to explore and dine out. the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel's lack of soundproofing makes it difficult for light sleepers to get a good night's rest. Even with the windows closed, the noise from the street and neighboring rooms can be quite disruptive, especially on weekends when there are parties nearby.

It's also close to restaurants, tapas bars, and a cafe bar in the park. There are plenty of shops within a short walk. It's a perfect stopover if you're traveling to central or southern Spain after arriving on the ferry. The hotel is about a 2.5-hour drive from Santander and slightly less from Bilbao.

I had a great experience staying at the Hotel Ciudad De. the location was convenient, being close to the bus and train stations, as well as just a short walk from the charming old town. the room and en-suite bathroom were spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having complimentary apples and water available. the staff, especially Miguel at the front desk, went above and beyond to help us when we encountered a health issue. They assisted us in finding the proper medical help and made sure we were well taken care of during our recovery. Miguel, who spoke fluent English, took care of every detail. I will definitely make this hotel my go-to place when visiting the area again.
