I recently stayed at Hostal Condestable for a weekend getaway. The cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere was great value for money. I enjoyed the view of San Antonio de los Alemanes church from my balcony and the faint sound of church bells. The sink and mirror in the room were convenient, and the shared bathrooms were clean and sufficient. The location was perfect, with Gran Via and Malasana just minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome even with my limited Spanish. a fantastic hostel with good security and a convenient location.
