I recently stayed at Hostal Martinval and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro and popular attractions like Sagrada Familia and La Rambla within walking distance. The hostel itself was housed in a charming old building, with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and lovely balconies where I could enjoy my morning coffee. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, and the heating system kept me comfortable during the winter months. There was even a great mussels restaurant nearby and two grocery stores for convenience. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided me with a map and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I would definitely return to Hostal Martinval in the future.

The shared bathrooms were surprisingly spacious and clean, with double sinks and a large walk-in shower. the room itself was decently sized, with a comfortable queen-sized bed and a TV. the location was excellent, close to popular attractions such as La Sagrada Familia and within walking distance to Las Ramblas. there was a great restaurant just a block away from the hotel.

In the summer months, the lack of air conditioning in some rooms may be an issue, as Barcelona can get quite hot. the noise from the street was a bit bothersome, but closing the windows helped minimize the sound.

We had a great stay at Hostal Martinval. the beds were comfortable and the room, although small, was nice. the presence of a ceiling fan was appreciated. the location was convenient, with easy access to the metro and a bustling street with plenty of restaurants and stores. the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our room had a small balcony and a private bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. the rooms were cleaned regularly, which was unexpected but appreciated. it was a nice place to stay, especially considering the price.

my valintines day stay at this barcelona hotel was superb. the check in was quick and the room was spacious, clean, and had great ac. the location is convenient, with nearby metro stations and attractions within walking distance. overall, Hostal Martinval exceeded my expectations.

Wifi signal was weak.

the location was very good, with attractions like Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlo nearby. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with great advice to discover the city. We had a room with a shared bathroom, and even though we were initially concerned, our worries quickly disappeared. the shared bathroom was clean, and they changed our towels daily and replenished our bath products. the quality, position, and price of the hostal were excellent. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it to others.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and toiletries.

We loved the clean rooms, friendly staff, and the unique charm of the original elevator. The spacious apartment was a delightful surprise. Nearby convenience stores and cafes made it easy for us to grab breakfast and explore Barcelona. The central location allowed us to walk into the city center and easily take the metro back.

The hotel's cleanliness, facilities, and location in a lovely neighborhood were exceptional. The rooms were well-appointed, clean, and had comfortable beds. The hotel also had great facilities including a kitchen, laundry room, and a spacious bathroom with hot water. The location was in the city center, near local attractions and a short walk from metro stations. We also enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff.
