We had a wonderful stay at the Casual hotel in San Sebastian. The room was simple and clean, with a spacious shower that wasn't one of those shower over baths commonly found in Europe. The hotel itself is chic and conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk along the river to the bus and train station, and about 25-30 minutes to the Old Town. Check-in and check-out was smooth, and the staff was very helpful with our taxi reservation. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food and was worth the price, especially the delicious pastries. We were also pleasantly surprised by a friendly staff member who gave us a list of recommended pintxos bars, including his personal favorite.
