We recently stayed at a hotel in Santiago and we were pleasantly surprised with the complementary champagne and strawberries that awaited us in our room upon arrival. the location was ideal as we were able to easily walk to all the main sights and restaurants in the area. the rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city and was a great place to relax.

Our experience was not all positive. the room was quite small and lacked adequate storage, making it difficult for us to organize our belongings.

I stayed at a hotel that is conveniently located near the airport in Santiago. It is also located right on the Camino and is next to a beautiful park with gardens. The room I stayed in was quite small, but it had everything I needed and was surprisingly quiet considering it was located on a busy street. The bathroom was updated and very clean. The breakfast offered toasted croissants and jam, a great way to start the day.

There were no English TV channels available in the room. I also would have liked to have tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel's small bar in the lobby was convenient for a quick bite, and the large salon/lounge provided a comfortable space to relax. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even offering room service if desired. Although there was a minor issue with a blinking red light from the fire detection system, it was hardly a detraction from an otherwise wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Hotel Herradura to others visiting Santiago de Compostela.
