My family and I extended our timeshare stay at Macdonald Villacana for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment we stayed in was incredibly spacious and had easy access to the beach. We also loved the convenience of being close to a charming local village and having good public transport options to explore Estepona and Puerto Banus. Another highlight was the free basic Spanish lessons offered three times a week. it was a fantastic holiday experience in a place we have loved for years.

We loved this apartment! It was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The private terrace on the rooftop was a great addition. The hotel facilities, including the pools and the gym, were amazing. We also appreciated the free parking in front of the apartment building. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the beach and close to several restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the swimming pool areas were spotlessly clean. The resort's facilities were top-notch, providing everything needed for a relaxing vacation in the sun. The indoor and outdoor pools were especially refreshing on hot days, and despite the high occupancy, there was always plenty of space without any sunbed hogging. The poolside bar/restaurant served delicious food, and the service was excellent. The villa we stayed in, number 39, was perfect for our family of four, offering spacious and comfortable accommodations. The rooms were well-equipped and even had stair gates and a travel cot with a luxurious mattress for our little one. The cleanliness of the apartment was outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised when it was cleaned midway through our stay. The location of our villa was fantastic, just a minute's walk from the pool and bar, and a maximum of five minutes from the beach. The entire resort was easily accessible with a double buggy. The nearby gardens along the beach walk were stunning and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we cannot recommend this resort enough. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely consider returning in the future.

the apartment was clean and well-maintained, with a lovely roof terrace. the complex itself was beautiful, with meticulously maintained gardens, plants, and swimming pools. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly the waitress at the pool bar. the location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and other amenities. the apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a travel cot with a luxurious mattress for our little one.

The villa we stayed in was perfect for our family of four. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The hotel staff were also very helpful and attentive. The location was excellent, with the pool and bar just a minute away and the beach within a short walk. We also enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the option of water sports nearby. the cleanliness, facilities, and location of this hotel were top-notch.

We had an amazing stay at Macdonald Villacana! The rooms were spacious and the patios and gardens were beautiful. The swimming area was lovely and the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants. The villas had everything we needed and the staff were friendly. We also loved the multiple pools and the happy hour at the main pool. Highly recommended!

We loved the kids club and the nostalgic feeling of returning to a place we cherished as children. Villacana truly is a hidden gem in Estepona.

Noisy construction works interfered with relaxation.

The resort has excellent facilities for bike riders, including bike workshops and bike-friendly amenities. The pools, both indoor and outdoor, are well-maintained and perfect for a refreshing swim. Plenty of room around the pools, as sunbeds cannot be reserved, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere. Food and service at the poolside bar/restaurant were very good. The beautiful gardens and clean apartments with roof terraces add to the overall charm of the resort. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Great value for money, spacious and clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. The location was beautiful, with well-maintained gardens and three lovely pools to choose from. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially Kay from the kids club.

The breakfast experience could be improved with better enforcement of sunbed reservations to ensure everyone gets a fair chance.

the reception staff, who spoke excellent English, were very helpful in providing us with keys and information. the location of the resort was great, with ample parking and a clean, well-maintained apartment. We particularly loved the spacious duplex layout and the private terrace. the pool facilities, both indoor and outdoor, were clean and not too crowded. we enjoyed the delicious food at the reasonably priced restaurant. the entire staff, including the gardeners, housekeeping, restaurant, and reception. And a special mention goes to Lisa, the amazing kids club lady who my son adored.

Shops and restaurants everywhere, indoor and outdoor pools for all my swimming needs, and the sauna made me feel like a glowing marshmallow. So fancy!

The scuba diving experience was just amazing. if you're into getting wet and seeing beautiful marine life.

I've been coming to this resort since I was a child, and it was important for me to bring my own family here. We had a great time! the kids loved the kids club and the apartment was spacious and lovely. the beach was right by the resort, and the views were stunning. the gardens and pools were gorgeous, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It's just as I remembered it from years ago.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort. the duplex apartment was excellent with plenty of space, great facilities, and a lovely private outside terrace. the pool was clean, not too crowded, and the kids had a blast. the gardens and pools were gorgeous, creating a relaxing environment. We were impressed with the attentive kids entertainer Kay, and the location of our villa was amazing, just a minute away from the pool and bar. It was also a short walk to the beach, and we were able to easily explore the area with our double buggy. the beds were spacious and super comfy, and the shower had amazing water pressure. We were pleasantly surprised when the apartment was cleaned halfway through our stay. it was a fantastic and enjoyable holiday experience.
