I recently stayed at Gran Melia in Chiclana for a week and I can't recommend highly enough this hotel. The staff were dedicated, professional, and friendly. The service was excellent, and the breakfast and à la carte restaurant were delicious. The beach was one of the best I've seen, and the room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was fabulous with Clarins products. The amenities were top-notch, and the pool area was fantastic. a luxury hotel with exceptional staff and faultless service.

Christmas was amazing at this luxury hotel! Loved the festive decorations and the holiday atmosphere. the breakfast was superb with a fantastic selection of hot and cold food. the hotel’s location was superb, with easy access to the beach and the surrounding area. One of the best things was the spa, which was very relaxing and offered a great range of treatments.

The service could be quite slow and understaffed at times, particularly in the bar and restaurant. It would have been better if the staff were more attentive and able to deal with requests more promptly.

The private Level 1 garden suite with its own sunbeds and Bali bed was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. The pools were clean and inviting, and the food was delicious, especially the breakfast spread. The maintenance of the facilities was exceptional, and the bed in the room was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location on Barrosa beach was stunning.

Although the hotel was impressive, some areas seemed a little dated, such as the bathrooms and corridors. The shower pressure could have been better, and it would have been convenient to have authentic Spanish restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is the perfect location for a luxurious and relaxing vacation. the spa and wellness centre exceeded my expectations with its professional body scrub and massage treatments. the indoor swimming pool and sauna were always clean and well-maintained. the outdoor swimming pool was large with plenty of sun loungers, beach umbrellas, and a beautiful sun terrace.
