The hotel is well-managed and in good shape. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is helpful. We enjoyed the live music every evening and the friendly atmosphere. The shuttle service to the nearby beaches was convenient. we had a good stay at this hotel.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks mentioned by other guests, such as problems with the air conditioning or the old windows, these did not significantly affect our experience. We found the location to be good and the staff to be friendly.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been better organized. It was inconvenient having to go from one food bay to another for a more varied salad, as ingredients were not all in one place.

The indoor public areas were dull and tired, needing an update to a more contemporary style. the occasional drop in food quality was noticeable, possibly due to the high volume of diners.

The drinks available were fantastic, with a good selection of premium spirits and bottled beers. the gym was also well equipped with plenty of weights and barbells. the location was great, with lovely stalls available in the evenings.

The housekeeping was not up to scratch, with poorly made beds. the food was hit-and-miss, with some clients experiencing health hazards.

The food at Barcelo was exceptional, with a wide variety of local and European delicacies, especially the desserts. The cleanliness throughout the hotel, from the maintenance to the grounds and administrative staff, was impressive. The hotel also offered great recreational facilities, including tennis, mini golf, and table tennis, with available time slots for these activities.

I had a fantastic time at a hotel I've been to 15 times over the past 17 years. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the food was varied and plentiful. I loved being able to help myself to poolside snacks and drinks. The animation team was fun, and there were plenty of activities for everyone. I can't wait to go back!
