angel posting house & livery was a genuine "olde worlde" hotel with friendly staff. the room was spacious and the location was perfect, right on the high street and a short walk from the train station. there was plenty of choice for food and drink nearby, and the hotel had a superb café on the ground floor for breakfast. staying here felt like a chance to experience an old coaching inn.

Conveniently located on High Street with a nearby parking garage. Friendly staff provided excellent service despite a broken key encoding machine. Charming 1622 building with comfortable beds. Outstanding Christmas facilities and festive atmosphere.

The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The rooms were full of character, which is always exciting to see. The hotel has a great history and is located perfectly for dining out and going to the theater.

During the Christmas season, I stayed at a hotel that had a couple of redeeming qualities. they provided complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby, which was a nice touch. the hotel was located in the heart of the town, close to great shopping spots and restaurants. the hotel room I stayed in had a gorgeous view of the city that I found quite enjoyable.

Despite the convenient location and the complementary festive treats, the hotel experience wasn't what I hoped for. The bed was old and saggy, and the pillows were flat.
