We recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The location of this place is simply unbeatable - it is nestled in beautiful gardens right by the ramparts of the city. The hotel itself is housed in a stunning old palace, giving it an incredible sense of history and charm.

parador de avila was even better than our previous stay in avila. the room was spacious with a comfy bed, and the hotel had beautiful common areas and a lovely garden. the location inside the city walls was convenient and easy to find by car. the staff were professional and the breakfast was great.

The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk to the Convent of St Teresa of Avila and right by the ramparts of the city. Not impressed with the room. It was dingy and smelled musty, hard to sleep comfortably in there.

When I arrived at the Parador, there was no parking space available. However, the friendly receptionist went above and beyond by offering to move the Parador vehicle to create a space for my car. That level of customer service truly impressed me. The rooms were large and clean, with a comfortable mattress for a good night's sleep. The Parador's location next to the city walls, along with its well-maintained gardens and patio, made it a truly enjoyable place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, beautiful building, and attentive staff.
