Staying at the Parador De Merida was like stepping into history. The spacious room was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Loved the outdoor dining area and the historical setting made for a relaxing atmosphere.

The pool was tiny, not ideal for a splash, but the staff were really friendly and keen to help. Location was prime, though parking was a bit tight!

the location is pretty great, super close to merida's historical sites and some cool restaurants. the staff are really nice and always ready to help. the hotel has this amazing blend of old and new vibes, and it kinda feels like being in a museum. the food at the restaurant is really good, with an interesting mix of local and modern flavors. i felt welcomed and well taken care of the whole time.

the parking can be super tight, so watch out if you got a bigger car. also, the bathroom could def use a makeover, it felt kinda outdated.

arriving at a hotel that's supposed to be nice was quite the experience. confusing layouts and nonexistent signage were a lovely touch. after all this hassle, i certainly expected a complimentary upgrade to soothe my frustrations, but no such luck! absolutely wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy feeling like just another guest. i wish i could say otherwise.

Staying there was like being part of a story , the hotel’s past as a monastery gave it such a unique charm. The breakfast was outstanding , with eggs cooked to order and an amazing selection of cold meats and fish that really kickstarted my mornings.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for what you get, I’d say it’s worth it.

We loved exploring the culture and sights of Mérida, with guided tours organized by the Parador. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our kids enjoyed the cold breakfast buffet, especially the excellent coffee.

In my wife’s opinion, more family-friendly activities are needed.

I had a grand time here! The room was comfy with a lovely balcony, perfect for a glass of wine. The breakfast? A bit lacking in options, though. could've used some eggs, if you ask me. Still, the staff were real sound folks!
