The Parador De had a beautiful building with a stunning view of the town from its hilltop location. The central courtyard, which was once used for rainwater collection, now serves as a smoking area, but as a non-smoker, I appreciated that it was glassed off on all levels. The staff were incredibly friendly and the town itself was a joy to explore, with a scenic park along the river. The meals at the Parador were delicious, especially the seafood appetizers. One standout dish for me was the perfectly seared scallops served on their shells.
