We enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions and dining at the local restaurants, all within easy walking distance. the historic setting of the hotel added to the charm of our visit and made for a memorable holiday experience.

That the hotel seemed to attract a stuffy upper-class crowd that didn't quite fit the relaxed and friendly vibe of the staff. there were a few rowdy children in the bar area that detracted from the ambiance.
