Located in a good area away from the crowds, Hotel President is a great choice for backpackers. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the town. The staff are friendly, especially in the restaurant where the food is incredible with a variety of options. The hotel is very close to both the center and the beach, making it convenient for exploring the area.

One downside is that the pool area could use better arrangements for the parasols to prevent them from falling over.

Visited during xmas, loved the festive decorations and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist us. The location was perfect, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, a great spot to relax and soak up the sun.

The noise from the neighboring stairwell was unbearable, making sleep difficult. The food at the hotel was bland and lacked flavor, and I experienced stomach issues on multiple occasions.
