Great location, close to public transportation and easily accessible to other areas. The room was clean and as depicted in the pictures, offering all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. Free wifi was available, making it convenient to stay connected.

The lack of windows in the room was a downside, as it felt a bit enclosed. The toilets were uncomfortably hot, especially if you needed to spend more than a few minutes in there.

We had a fantastic time at this hostel. the staff was incredibly kind and always available to help us, even through Whatsapp. the location was perfect, just a short 3-4 minute walk from the metro station. Our room was clean and functional for three people, with a spacious double bed and a nice-sized bathroom. Despite being on a busy street, there wasn't too much noise from outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the hostel facilities, which were far better than the initial impression we had of the building. we loved the great location and the friendly staff, who even gave us a small gift at check-out.

The staff at the hostel were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and provided helpful recommendations for places to visit in the city. The bathrooms were always clean and well-stocked, and I appreciated the fact that towels and shower gel/shampoo were provided. The location of the hostel was ideal - right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the vibrant neighborhoods and attractions.

The noise level in the hostel was quite high, especially at night. I could hear the sounds from other rooms, which made it difficult to sleep.

It was close to shopping, metro stations, and squares. I was able to walk to La Rambla in just 10-15 minutes. the best part was having a private room with a private shower. the beds were comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. the staff, especially the helpful receptionist, Lewis, made my stay even better. They even notified me via WhatsApp when I left some personal belongings behind. the hostel is surrounded by small shops and is within walking distance of popular attractions like Plaza de Catalunya, la Rambla, and the Gothic quartiers.

Our stay at Youth Hostel - Central And Basic Universitat was overall satisfactory. The location was excellent, just a short walk from Placa de Catalunya, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed with the young lady we encountered on our last day, who made a great impression with her kindness and assistance.

One specific issue we faced was the lack of air conditioning in our room during our July stay. Although this was my own oversight for not checking beforehand, it made the nights almost unbearable in the heat.
