I recently stayed at The Hat hostel for a few nights during my trip to Madrid. The hostel had a trendy and modern vibe, with a friendly and helpful young staff. The private room I stayed in was perfect, with all the necessary amenities. The rooftop bar was lovely and offered excellent prices. The location was ideal, with the metro nearby and plenty of cafes for dining. The hostel also provided a delicious breakfast. a stylish and comfortable stay.

The Hat Madrid offers a great location, just a short 30-minute journey from Atocha railway station. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful information and excellent services. The hostel boasts fantastic facilities, with a particular focus on cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable stay.

I had an amazing stay at the hostel! The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring that I had a comfortable experience. The location was fantastic, with easy access to main attractions and metro stations. The hostel offered great activities for guests, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean and modern, and I especially loved the all-female 6 bed room. Despite the language barriers, the staff was great at communication. I would highly recommend this hostel to others! I had a superb time and would definitely come back.

The hostel I stayed at during my New Year's trip was absolutely amazing! the facilities provided were top-notch. the rooms were comfortable and spacious, making my stay very pleasant. Additionally, the hostel had a great atmosphere, with a modern and vibrant décor that added to the overall experience. I also loved the fact that there was a convenience store conveniently located right across the road.

There were a couple of things that could have been better. some of my roommates preferred to keep the air conditioning on at night, which made it a bit difficult for me to sleep comfortably.

Excellent location, welcoming staff, clean and spacious rooms, great storage space, regular bathroom cleaning, great coffee in lobby bar.

The staff at this hotel were so helpful and friendly, they really made our stay enjoyable. the private room we stayed in was the nicest we've had in any hostel, it felt more like a hotel than a hostel. the hotel's central location was perfect, everything was within walking distance and there were plenty of amenities nearby.

The kitchen could have been better equipped, it would have been nice to be able to prepare our own food. the wifi was down for our entire stay, which was a bit frustrating.

super central location next to Plaza Mayor, amazing breakfast for only 4 euro, comfortable beds with air conditioning, cute balcony with great view, non-stuffy atmosphere, free tapas and drinks every night.

Payment confusion and charge for towels and luggage storage.

I stayed at The Hat for a few days and had a great time! The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions. The hostel even had a free Sangria night to meet other travelers. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the nearby market. Definitely recommend this place!

I got great value for my money at The Hat. The room was comfortable and beautifully designed. The location was perfect, just seconds away from Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The staff treated me like family, even allowing me to change in the downstairs bathrooms after my long flight.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

The rooms and common areas were very modern and vibey, and the location was fantastic. the breakfast was a bargain, and the hostel organized many activities for us, including a free city tour and pub crawl.

One downside was that the rooftop bar can get quite noisy until the early hours of the morning. Additionally, the 4-bed bunk room was surprisingly small, although each bed had its own light, electrical socket, and storage cupboard.

Great place, very friendly staff and convenient location. the rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the rooftop bar and the atmosphere. Also, having individual plug sockets for each bed was a plus. the breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of areas to cook and hang out. Definitely recommend this hostel for a short stay in the city.

There were a few drawbacks though. the room could have been more practical with a bed side table or any table to keep necessary items.
