My weekend getaway exceeded all my expectations! the secluded location, amidst nature, was perfect for relaxation. the staff was attentive, and the personalized breakfast was delightful. I enjoyed the farm-fresh produce and savoring exotic fruits that I had never tasted before. the dinner was just as impressive, with mouth-watering local dishes, spiced to perfection.

The dirt road leading to the hotel was bumpy, which might be challenging for some drivers. the hotel only accepts cash payment, which is not always convenient.

This resort is located by the jungle, making it a great spot for nature lovers. The rooms are big, new, and clean with comfortable beds. The staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond to accommodate guests' wishes, offering fresh juices, fruits, and tasty breakfast and dinner. The pool is delightful after a long day of sightseeing.

There were no separate towels for the pool and shower mentioned by a guest, but the staff provided extra shower towels upon request.

We stayed at Amelia Resort for a few days during our trip to explore the nearby Pidurangala Rock and Sigiriya. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even providing us with a hair dryer upon request. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms had everything we needed. Plus, no mosquitos! I highly recommend staying here for a pleasant and hassle-free experience.

My stay at Amelia Resort was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The family-run atmosphere created a cozy and comfortable environment, and the owners and staff went above and beyond to fulfill all of my requests. The personalized service extended to everything from fresh juices and fruits to a delicious breakfast and dinner. I must say, the Sri Lankan food was absolutely fantastic and worth staying at the hotel just for that! Additionally, I loved that the hotel was situated away from noisy towns and roads, surrounded by farms, trees, and nature.

I have to mention a very minor drawback, which was that I couldn't pay by credit card. However, the owners were incredibly understanding and accommodating, so this point becomes quite irrelevant.
